Pediatric Eye Exam

  • Children of 3 to 7 years of age are at risk for developing amblyopia, or lazy eye, which often develops without any overt symptoms. All children should have a vision exam at age 3 to rule out amblyopia.
  • School aged children 6 years and above are at risk of developing myopia, or near sightedness. All school aged children should have annual eye exams.
