Boston Eye Blink is founded by Juan Ding, OD, PhD. Dr. Ding currently works at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester MA as an attending optometrist and an assistant professor of UMass Medical School. Dr. Ding specializes in comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, diabetic eye exams, refraction, contact lens fitting, and binocular visual dysfunctions.
Yueran Yan, OD, PhD
Yueran Yan OD, PhD is a co-founder of Boston Eye Blink. Dr. Yan works as an independent Optometrist at Dedham Costco Eye Clinic in Dedham, Massachusetts. He received his OD from New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, and Ph.D in physical chemistry from Ohio University in Athens, OH. He did a post-doctoral research fellowship specializing in age-related macular degeneration at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (MEEI) of Harvard Medical School prior to becoming an optometrist.
Yu-Qiong Niu OD, PhD
Yu-Qiong Niu OD, PhD is a partner of Boston Eye Blink. Dr. Niu currently works as an independent Optometrist at Waltham Costco Eye Clinic in Waltham, Massachusetts. She received her OD degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, and Ph.D degree in Biophysics from Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, China. Prior to becoming an optometrist, Dr. Niu had carried out post-doctoral research on neural mechanisms underling eye movements at University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and research on neurodegenerative diseases at University of California Davis (UC Davis). Before joining Boston Eye Blink, Dr. Niu has accumulated extensive experience in serving optometric patients in Great Boston area including Brookline, Cambridge, Dedham, Braintree etc. Dr. Niu enjoys helping people with their eye care to achieve optimal vision of each individuals.
